Twelve years ago, October 1, 2010, we opened our doors with 2 children in our Pre - Kinders program. Within the next two years the enrolment grew to 32 and it was time to move to a larger location. This new location is our present home. Its size has permitted us to increase our programming options and accept more children. Three years ago, we proudly added our Enhanced Kinders - Plus Program. Positive feedback on our curriculum and parental requests convinced us it was the correct time for the next step in our expansion. In June 2016, we reached yet another milestone in our growth. First Steps & Beyond received its designation of a Registered Private School from Alberta Education. This designation means the addition of grades to our school. Currently, the school offers Pre - School, Pre - Kinders,  Kinders - Plus, Grades 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Small Class Sizes – Our Kinders - Plus and grade classes are levelled at 12 students. Pre-School and Pre - Kinders run at a ratio of 1:8. Your child receives daily personal instructional time and enriched and challenging learning experiences. It is all about superior education in superior learning environments.

Higher standards for academic performance – All of the students set personal learning goals and together we put a plan in place to achieve that goal. No student is idle in their learning as new goals are constantly being set. Your student will strive to reach and surpass their personal best.
